Trekking in Bhutan, the Raven Way

Trekking in Bhutan: What to Expect with Raven Tours
In Bhutan, trekking isn't just about reaching high passes—it's about slowing down, breathing deeply, and walking with intention. At Raven Tours, we take care of the details so you can stay immersed in the Moment.
Thoughtful Trekking, Designed Around You
Our treks are crafted to offer both freedom and ease. They invite you to wander through wildflower meadows, pause beside alpine lakes, and rest well each night in the heart of Bhutan's highlands. Behind the scenes, everything is quietly taken care of, allowing you to travel light and feel at home in the wilderness.
Boutique Comfort in the Wild
Your camp is a sanctuary. Sleep in spacious expedition tents, warmed by high-altitude sleeping bags and soft foam pads. Our team thoughtfully arranges cozy dining, kitchen, toilet, and solar-heated shower tents at each site so that even the remotest camps feel welcoming. Each night, you'll be handed a warm water bag to tuck into bed with you.
A Dedicated Team to Support You
Every trek is accompanied by a seasoned crew: expert guides, trail chefs, and experienced horse riders who move ahead to prepare each campsite before you arrive. Meals are warm, nourishing, and inspired by local flavors—served in a proper dining setup, with genuine care and attention.
Staying Hydrated, Staying Sustainable
To refresh you while caring for the environment, we provide filtered drinking water at camp and refill your bamboo-covered bottle daily from our large water jars. We travel plastic-free wherever possible—because small choices create lasting impact.
Your Safety, Always Top of Mind
Your well-being is at the heart of every journey. Our guides are trained in first aid and high-altitude care, and we carry a fully equipped medical kit on every trek. In remote regions, satellite phones or walkie-talkies are part of our standard gear, and our pace constantly adjusts to how you feel, not just the map.
Treading Lightly on Sacred Land
We walk with care. Our camps avoid water sources, cook with gas instead of firewood, and leave no trace behind. All non-biodegradable waste is packed out, and guests often join in trail clean-ups as a quiet way to give back to the land.
What You Carry, What We Carry
You'll walk with only a daypack—your main duffel (up to 15 kg) is carried ahead by horses and lovingly managed by our camp team. From setup to breakdown, your gear is always in thoughtful hands.
Moving with the Moment
Our guides know that some moments deserve more time. We make space for it if you want to linger at a ridge draped in prayer flags or sit for tea with a yak herder. With Raven Tours, the trail flows with you, not the clock.
