Aman Kora - Paro

Amankora Paro offers a deeply grounding experience on the outskirts of one of Bhutan's most storied valleys, surrounded by tall blue pines and the soft murmur of mountain air. Near the trail to Tiger's Nest and the ancient ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, the lodge feels timeless, rooted in reverence, yet refined in every detail.

Its 24 suites are quietly elegant, constructed with rammed-earth walls and warmed by bukhari stoves. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in forest light, while deep soaking tubs and handcrafted accents invite guests to slow down and settle into stillness.

Wellness is woven throughout the lodge. The two-level spa offers traditional treatments, from herbal compress therapies to hot-stone baths infused with Himalayan wisdom. A glass-walled yoga space and forest pathways provide room for both movement and reflection.

Meals are served with intimacy and intention, with local ingredients like wild mushrooms, red rice, and yak cheese transformed into simple, nourishing dishes. Each plate carries the spirit of the land, best enjoyed beside a fire or beneath Bhutan's evening skies.

Amankora Paro isn't designed to dazzle but to center you. It is a quiet retreat where the beauty lies in what you see and how deeply you begin to feel.
